Job Title: QA Manager 

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced QA Manager to lead quality assurance delivery for multiple client engagements in an IT services environment. The role requires strong people leadership, hands-on automation expertise, and direct client interaction. The QA Manager will be responsible for driving quality strategy across onsite and offshore teams while ensuring consistent, high-quality delivery across accounts.

Key Responsibilities

Client & Account Management

• Serve as the primary QA representative for client accounts

• Engage with client stakeholders to understand business requirements and quality expectations

• Participate in client governance meetings, status reviews, and escalation management

• Build long-term client trust by ensuring delivery excellence and transparency

Team Leadership & People Management

• Lead and manage QA teams across onsite and offshore locations

• Hire, mentor, and develop QA engineers to build scalable, high-performing teams

• Conduct performance reviews, career planning, and skill development initiatives

Hands-On Automation & Technical Leadership

• Actively contribute to automation testing using Selenium

• Design, implement, and maintain automation frameworks aligned with project needs

• Review automation scripts and enforce coding and testing best practices

• Support CI/CD pipelines by integrating automated tests into build and release cycles

Delivery Ownership

• Own end-to-end QA delivery for multiple projects and accounts

• Define test strategies, test plans, and execution models based on client engagement type

• Plan resource allocation and manage QA effort estimates and timelines

• Ensure defect management, root cause analysis, and continuous quality improvement

Process, Metrics & Governance

• Establish and standardize QA processes across accounts

• Define quality metrics, KPIs, and dashboards for internal and client reporting

• Drive compliance with SDLC/STLC, Agile, and client-specific processes

Required Skills & Experience

• 8+ years of experience in Software Testing / Quality Assurance

• 3+ years of experience in a QA Manager or Delivery Lead role within an IT services company

• Strong client-facing experience managing enterprise or mid-sized client accounts

• Proven team management experience across onsite and offshore models

• Hands-on expertise in automation testing using Selenium

• Solid understanding of Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery models

• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills

Nice to Have

• Experience working with global clients across different time zones

• Exposure to CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, etc.)

• Knowledge of API or performance testing tools

• Experience with test management tools (JIRA, TestRail, Zephyr, etc.)
