Software Developer in Test - Find My (Server)

The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test frameworks to validate APIs, backend services, and server components. This role requires strong programming skills, deep understanding of API protocols, and experience with CI/CD integration. Candidate should be highly proactive individual with strong creative, technical, and analytical skills and is passionate about new technologies in automation.

A successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop critically important test solutions that directly impact the quality of our consumer facing applications. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, designing, writing, maintaining and performing end-end test cases through manual and automation. You will drive all aspects of quality and process improvements to help the team ensure that our features are rock-solid and ready to be released to our customers. Reporting bugs with outstanding isolation and regression techniques will be the key to your success. This role also requires balancing a wide variety of deliverables that will rely on your talent for managing priorities and communicating progress and risks effectively and systematically. You will not only dive deep into solving complex problems, but you will also work closely with partners in various disciplines across the company, including SW, HW, Design, Privacy and more.

6+ years of experience in Automation.\nProgramming experience in Java, Python, or JavaScript\nExperience with test automation frameworks for API testing and backend services , including designing, implementing, and maintaining automated test suites\nValidate request/response payloads, headers, authentication, and error handling\nAnalyze server logs and debug backend issues with query parameters \nPerform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing\nWork closely with developers and product teams to understand requirements\nIntegrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines\nCreate and maintain test documentation, test cases\nExperience building dashboard to generate and post test reports\nExperience working with Apple devices (iPhone, iPad, Mac, Watch etc.)\nExceptional interpersonal and communication skills for collaborating across many participating teams\nBS in Computer Science or equivalent experience

Build and enhance API automation frameworks from scratch\nExperience with contract testing for server-side systems\nFamiliarity with Docker and microservices architecture\nSecurity testing knowledge (API security best practices)\nPassionate about learning new skills and technologies quickly and independently\nProficient in resolving complex failures using advanced debugging techniques\nFamiliarity with different server environments and test data pipelines\nStrong communication skills with the ability to influence technical direction and design decisions from a quality perspective
