Job Description
We are seeking a SAP PI/PO Contractor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in SAP PI/PO and SAP Integration Suite (Cloud Integration) and a proven ability to design, migrate, and support scalable enterprise integrations, including PI/PO to CPI migrations.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and support integrations using SAP Integration Suite (Cloud Integration).
- Create custom iFlows using standard and advanced CPI capabilities, including mappings and exception handling.
- Lead or participate in SAP PI/PO to SAP CPI migration projects from assessment through deployment.
- Develop and maintain integrations with REST, SOAP, OData, IDoc, RFC, SFTP, File, and JDBC.
- Build Groovy scripts, message mappings, value mappings, and robust error handling.
- Troubleshoot interface failures and perform root cause analysis for production incidents.
- Collaborate with functional teams, analysts, and business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
- Create technical designs, deployment guides, and operational support documentation.
- Support performance tuning and optimization of PI/PO and CPI interfaces.
- Adhere to enterprise integration standards, security requirements, and development best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 5+ years with SAP PI/PO 7.4 or higher, including configuration, development, implementation, and support.
- 3+ years of hands-on SAP Integration Suite Cloud Integration (CPI) development.
- Proven experience delivering new CPI integrations from requirements through deployment and PI/PO to CPI migrations.
- Expertise with adapters: JDBC, SFTP, File, IDoc, XI, REST, SOAP; CPI adapters including SFTP, SOAP, HTTP, OData, IDoc, ProcessDirect.
- Strong knowledge of integration patterns, middleware concepts, and enterprise application integration.
- Proficiency with SQL and database concepts; experience with XML, JSON, XPath, XSLT, and Groovy scripting.
- Experience with API security, OAuth, certificates, authentication, and encryption.
- Performance tuning and optimization experience for SAP PI/PO and CPI interfaces.
- Demonstrated production monitoring and support for integrations.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple assignments.
Preferred Skills:
- SAP S/4HANA integration experience and SAP BTP exposure.
- Integration experience with JDE and other ERP platforms using PI/PO and CPI.
- Hands-on DB2 SQL and Microsoft T-SQL stored procedure development.
- Agile/Scrum delivery experience with tools such as Azure DevOps and Git.
