We are seeking a highly motivated Summer Intern to support our Modeling Test Engineering team in the characterization and modeling of RF and microwave semiconductor devices. This role provides hands-on experience with advanced measurement systems, automated test software, and semiconductor device characterization techniques used to develop high-performance RF products.
The intern will work alongside experienced engineers to collect, analyze, and validate measurement data used for device modeling and product development. This position is ideal for students interested in RF engineering, semiconductor devices, automation, and data analysis.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with DC, pulsed IV, and RF characterization of semiconductor devices.
Develop and maintain software tools for test automation, data processing, and reporting.
Collaborate with modeling team to support device development activities.
Required Qualifications
Junior or Senior pursuing a BS degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, or a related field.
Basic programming experience in one or more languages such as C#, Python, MATLAB, or LabVIEW.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of an engineering team.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Be given an individual and well-defined project with set outcome goals

Be invited to attend an intern webinar series
Attend networking/social events
Attend and present at Poster Session about each Interns project successes and pitfalls
