Cybersecurity Compliance Analyst

Job Summary:

- Hybrid position for local applicants only (no sponsorship available)
- Hands-on and advisory technical compliance role focused on Cisco networking and Palo Alto firewalls
- Work closely with engineering and architecture teams to validate secure network configurations
- Ensure and validate compliance with CJIS, NIST, and IRS Publication 1075 for critical government systems
- Review and assess Palo Alto firewall design, implementation, and security posture
- Develop Plans of Action and Milestones (POA&Ms) and create system hardening/DISA STIG guidance
- Provide technical compliance recommendations in an advisory (read-only) capacity
- Support audit readiness, control alignment, and translate compliance requirements into technical security controls
- Collaborate with cybersecurity, networking, and engineering teams
- Must have strong Cisco networking security validation experience and expertise in Palo Alto firewalls
- Require 8+ years hands-on technical experience with Cisco networking in government or regulated environments
- Experience with NIST and CJIS audits, POA&M development, system hardening, and STIG creation required
- Exposure to IRS Publication 1075, SOX audits, CIS Benchmarks, Palo Alto Panorama, and network segmentation preferred
- Degree in cybersecurity, networking, or related field preferred
