SAP BTP Consultant

Job Title: SAP BTP Consultant (Business Technology Platform)

Job Summary :

We are looking for a skilled SAP BTP Consultant to design, develop, and implement cloud-based solutions using SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP). The consultant will work closely with business and technical stakeholders to extend and integrate SAP applications, enable innovation, and support digital transformation initiatives using SAP BTP services.

Key Responsibilities :

• SAP BTP Solution Design:
  Design and implement scalable solutions on SAP BTP using services such as Integration Suite, Extension Suite, and Data & Analytics services.
• Application Development & Extensions:
  Develop side-by-side extensions for SAP S/4HANA and other SAP systems using SAP BTP (CAP, RAP, Fiori, SAP UI5).
• Integration:
  Build and manage integrations between SAP and non-SAP systems using SAP Integration Suite (Cloud Integration, API Management, Event Mesh).
• Data & Analytics:
  Enable analytics and reporting using SAP Analytics Cloud, Datasphere, and HANA Cloud.
• Security & Identity:
  Configure security, authentication, and authorization using SAP Identity Authentication Service (IAS) and Authorization Management.
• Lifecycle Management:
  Support application lifecycle management including CI/CD, transport management, and monitoring on SAP BTP.
• Performance & Optimization:
  Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize BTP applications and integrations for performance and reliability.
• Collaboration:
  Work with functional consultants, architects, and business teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Documentation & Knowledge Transfer:
  Create technical documentation and provide knowledge transfer to client and internal teams.
• Continuous Learning:
  Stay current with SAP BTP innovations, best practices, and roadmap updates.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong hands-on experience with SAP BTP and its core services.
• Experience with SAP Integration Suite, API Management, and Cloud Integration (CPI).
• Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA extensibility concepts (in-app vs side-by-side).
• Experience with SAP UI5, Fiori, CAP, or RAP development.
• Familiarity with SAP HANA Cloud, SAP Datasphere, or SAP Analytics Cloud.
• Proficiency in Java, JavaScript, Node.js, or ABAP (for integrations/extensions).
• Understanding of security, authentication, OAuth, and role-based access in SAP environments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
• 4+ years of SAP experience, with 2+ years working on SAP BTP projects.

Preferred Qualifications:

• SAP BTP or SAP Integration certifications.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform) in hybrid landscapes.
• Exposure to DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and automation tools.
• Experience in industries such as manufacturing, retail, finance, or utilities.
