TEKsystems is seeking a Data Engineer that is responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing enterprise data pipelines and data
platforms for one of our clients in Chicago. This will be full time right off the bat.
The engineer collaborates with analytics, BI, and business teams to transform requirements into reliable data assets that support reporting, analytics, and operational needs.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
5-7 years of experience in data engineering, ETL/ELT development, or cloud data platforms.
Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, and MSSQL.
Strong knowledge of data lake, lakehouse, and data warehouse architectures.
Solid understanding of ETL/ELT processes, data modeling, and metadata management.
Proficiency in SQL and Python; familiarity with cloud platforms and big data technologies.
Ability to diagnose data issues, optimize performance, and work with cross-functional technical and
business teams.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $110000.00 - $140000.00/yr.

After you have made your benefit decisions, enrolling is easy. Log onto the Employee Self Service website or through jNet (Main page, click on Timesheets/UKG Pro) Go to "MYSELF", then click on "Open Enrollment" The "Dependent" box for your spouse and children must be selected under "Verify Beneficiary and Dependent Information" to elect coverage for them. When finished, you must click the submit icon even if you do not make any changes. Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) and Health Savings Account (HSA) must be elected every year during Open Enrollment; deductions will not continue in 2026 unless you make an election in Open Enrollment. Your Open Enrollment benefit elections will be effective on January 1, 2026. Plan elections cannot be changed until the next open enrollment period unless you have a qualifying life event (See "Change in Coverage" on page 6.)
