Must Have Technical/Functional Skills
• 4-7 years of experience working with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, CRM platforms. Experience supporting campaign execution, platform optimization, integrations, and reporting is required.
• Strong working knowledge of Sales Cloud and how it integrates with Marketing Cloud (data synchronization and shared data models).
• Strong functional and technical understanding of Salesforce Marketing Cloud, including data management, journeys, audience segmentation, and reporting capabilities.
• Experience designing subscriber/contact data structures, preference centers, and consent/opt-out management.
• Ability to review technical estimates and implementation approaches and identify potential risks, dependencies, and opportunities.
• Experience supporting campaign reporting and performance measurement, with the ability to facilitate consistent, accurate performance measurement (familiarity with BI/reporting tools such as Tableau is a plus).
• Strong project coordination and stakeholder management skills with experience working across Marketing, IT, Compliance, and external vendors.
• Experience working within regulated environments and supporting compliance, privacy, and governance requirements (e.g., HIPAA/PHI, consent, CAN-SPAM/CASL, data retention).
• Salesforce certifications: Marketing Cloud Consultant, Marketing Cloud Administrator, and/or Sales Cloud Consultant.
• Experience in healthcare, pharma, or life sciences marketing, including familiarity with HIPAA, HITRUST, and (where applicable) 21 CFR Part 11 / GxP or validated-system expectations.
• Familiarity with customer data platform (CDP) concepts, deliverability best practices, and email authentication.
• Experience with vendor management, change management, environment governance, and audit processes.
Roles & Responsibilities
Technical oversight & guidance
• Support the design and evolution of marketing technology solutions across Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Sales Cloud, providing recommendations on best practices and implementation approaches.
• Provide functional and technical expertise to internal teams and agency partners to support successful delivery of marketing initiatives.
• Review solution designs, configurations, integrations, and campaign implementations to ensure they align with business requirements and established standards.
• Support the evaluation of agency proposals, estimates, and implementation approaches, identifying risks and recommendations for consideration.
• Support the development and documentation of integration and data-flow standards between Marketing Cloud, Sales Cloud, and connected upstream/downstream systems, and review implementations against them.
• Support campaign reporting strategy and help drive consistent performance measurement across marketing programs — defining how mark eting performance is measured and facilitating consistent, accurate reporting for internal teams, leadership, and agencies.
Management & coordination
• Support coordination across internal teams and external agencies to ensure projects are delivered on time and meet business requirements.
• Partner with agency and vendor teams to coordinate deliverables, track progress, and support successful execution of marketing initiatives.
• Partner with the Marketing Operations Specialist and leadership team to resolve complex functional and technical issues.
• Coordinate with the IT team on data integrations, security reviews, environment/change management, and platform releases.
• Facilitate communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders, so decisions, risks, and trade-offs are clearly understood by all parties.
• Serve as a dependable resource for the Marketing Operations team by helping coordinate priorities, resolve issues, and maintain continuity of critical processes when needed.
Governance & compliance
• Support and promote adherence to data governance and compliance requirements across marketing solutions.: PHI/PII handling, consent and opt-out management, data minimization, access controls, and audit-ready documentation.
• Maintain solution documentation, design standards, and decision records so the platform is supportable and audit ready.
Generic Managerial Skills, If any
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders and lead operationally when needed.
Salary Range: $100,000 - $120,000 a year
