Schneider Electric has a great opportunity for an Engineering Intern in the Franklin, TN facility. This internship will be full-time beginning in May 2026 so the ideal candidate must be located in the area. No visa sponsorship or relocation will be provided for this role.

What do you get to do in this position?
  • Support data population and migration activities within the engineering system/tool
  • Perform data cleanup and validation to ensure accuracy, consistency, and completeness of engineering records.
  • Analyze existing datasets to identify gaps, duplicates, or outdated information and help develop corrective actions.
  • Document processes, findings, and improvements to support ongoing data governance and future migrations.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement efforts related to data structure, workflows, and system usage best practices.
  • Collaborate with engineers to analyze project requirements and specifications.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute to product development and improvement initiatives.
  • Document findings, present results, and provide recommendations based on analysis.

This job might be for you if:
  • Actively pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Engineering (e.g., Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, Systems, or related field).
  • Strong analytical skills and high attention to detail, especially when working with large datasets.
  • Basic understanding of engineering documentation (drawings, parts lists, BOMs, etc.).
  • Proficiency in Excel or similar data tools (sorting, filtering, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, basic formulas).
  • Ability to learn and navigate engineering software systems quickly.
  • Strong communication skills and comfort collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Like challenges, have a learning mindset and want to make an impact
