SAP S/4 HANA FI Techno-Functional Consultant - Remote

Position: SAP S/4 HANA FI Techno-Functional Consultant

Location: Remote (Bay area)

Duration: 6-12+ Months contract

Must Haves:
-Located in the bay area
-Must have SAP S/4 Hana
-Heavy in FICO

We are seeking a SAP S/4HANA FICO Techno-Functional Consultant to join our team. The role involves leading finance system implementations and integrations, delivering high impact solutions for enterprise financial processes.

Key responsibilities
•     Design, configure and implement SAP S/4HANA Finance (FI) modules such as GL, AP and Fixed Assets.
•     Lead end to end integration of SAP FI with legacy financial systems using APIs.
•     Develop functional and technical specifications, conduct testing cycles (unit, regression, integration, UAT) and support data migration.
•     Provide month end/quarter end/year end financial close support and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
•     Collaborate with cross functional teams to design integrated solutions, create training material and conduct user training.
•     Debug ABAP and CDS views, support enhancements and resolve Level 2/3 issues post go live.

Required qualifications                                                                                            
•     Bachelor's degree in IT, Finance, Accounting or a related discipline.
•     A minimum of 1 full-lifecycle SAP FI/CO implementation experience
•     7+ years of experience as a functional consultant with deep expertise in SAP FI configuration.
•     Hands on experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance, Group Reporting, integrations.
•     Strong knowledge of integration techniques (APIs, middleware) and financial closing processes.
•     Excellent communication, stakeholder management and problem solving skills.

Nice to have
•     SAP S/4HANA Financial Accounting certification or equivalent.
•     Familiarity with SAP AI tools, BW/4HANA, SAC and Analysis for Office.
•     Basic ABAP debugging skills.
•     Experience working with globally distributed teams.
