Job: IT Sr. Project Manager
Location: 100 N. Senate Ave., Indianapolis, IN 46204
***Resource will be required to work onsite in Indianapolis 1-2 days per week based on the needs of the project.
***Resource must be currently located in Indiana. Please provide the City & State the resource resides.
In this position, you will collaborate with senior management, stakeholders and the overall project teams to meet business objectives and provide professional leadership, while fostering mentorship, respect and trust.
The essential functions of this role are as follows:
- Oversee multiple projects to ensure proper management towards successful conclusion.
- Manage large enterprise-type projects that involve multiple internal stakeholders or contracted resources.
- Mentor and provide guidance to intermediate level project managers including recommending training and experience.
Experience in complex IT project or portfolio coordination involving multiple stakeholders across multiple business areas and geographies. - Required 10 Years
Experience with Cloud migration, Google, Data Warehouse, Migration experience. - Required
Ability to translate technology terms and explain concepts of SDLC to program/business folks who have little to no exposure to large software projects. - Required 10 Years
Ability to support Sr. project team staff to drive projects to success. - Required 10 Years
Strong organization, communication and presentation skills. - Required
Experience in organizing highly complex and technical information. - Required 10 Years
Prior experience working on State of Indiana large software projects. - Required
Knowledge of multiple methodologies including agile and waterfall. - Required
Experience managing projects within Azure DevOps. - Highly desired
PMP Certified. - Desired
Led end-to-end migration of an on-premise to cloud data warehouse migrations. - Desired
