Job Summary

We are seeking a Business Data Analyst with 8+ years of experience and strong expertise in Underwriting and Claims processes. The candidate will analyze insurance data, define KPIs, and support underwriting and claims operations through data-driven insights.

Key Responsibilities

Gather and document business requirements related to underwriting and claims workflows
Analyze underwriting data (risk assessment, rating, premium calculation, loss ratio)
Analyze claims data (FNOL, reserves, claim lifecycle, settlement metrics)
Develop reports and dashboards using SQL and BI tools
Perform data validation, reconciliation, and quality checks
Collaborate with underwriting, claims, actuarial, and IT teams

Required Skills

8+ years as Business/Data Analyst
Strong knowledge of Underwriting & Claims lifecycle
Experience with Guidewire / Duck Creek / InsuranceNow (preferred)
Strong SQL and Power BI/Tableau skills
Agile/Scrum experience
