Role Overview
This organization requires an experienced Testing Lead to direct System Integration and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) efforts. The successful candidate will design robust test plans and test cases while coordinating activities across multiple development teams and software projects. This role involves defining key quality assurance metrics, managing error tracking, and collaborating with automation specialists to optimize the testing lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead comprehensive testing activities for System Integration and User Acceptance Testing phases.
- Develop detailed test plans and test cases aligned with software requirements.
- Collaborate with the automation team to integrate automated tests where feasible.
- Perform manual and automated testing for software functionality, installation, and usability.
- Define and track critical quality assurance metrics, including test coverage status and defect counts.
- Manage bugs, error tracking, and resolution processes across projects.
- Document and present structured test results to management.
- Coordinate and prioritize testing schedules for application modifications and bug fixes.
- Partner with multiple development teams to support diverse software initiatives.
Required Qualifications
Education: Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field of study.
Experience: Senior-level experience leading software testing processes, specifically integration and user acceptance testing, across complex software environments.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in manual and automated testing methodologies, defect tracking systems, and quality assurance metric definition. Experience with Asset Work Management tools and processes, such as SAP or equivalent solutions, is highly desired.
