Position Summary
4Consulting, Inc. is seeking an experienced Network and Computer Systems Administrators to administer, maintain, monitor, and support the organization's Managed File Transfer (MFT) environment. The selected candidate will be responsible for secure file-transfer operations, system administration, user access management, troubleshooting, monitoring, configuration, and production support.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The candidate will be responsible for:
- Administer and maintain Progress MOVEit Transfer and MOVEit Automation environments.
- Configure and manage secure file-transfer workflows, accounts, folders, permissions, and access controls.
- Monitor file-transfer activities, system performance, logs, alerts, and scheduled jobs.
- Troubleshoot failed transfers, connectivity issues, authentication problems, and system errors.
Minimum Qualifications

Education
|
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience
|
3+ years of experience in system administration, managed file transfer, infrastructure support, or a related technical field, including hands-on experience with MOVEit or similar MFT platforms.
|
|
Technical Skills
|
MOVEit Transfer, MOVEit Automation, Managed File Transfer (MFT), SFTP, FTPS, HTTPS, SSH, file-transfer automation, system monitoring, troubleshooting, Windows/Linux administration, PowerShell/Bash scripting, SSL/TLS certificates, encryption, authentication, and access management.

|
Secure File Transfer, System Administration, Infrastructure Operations, Production Support, Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management, Security and Access Management, and Disaster Recovery.

|
Ability to communicate effectively with technical and business stakeholders, including application, infrastructure, network, and security teams.

Ability to prepare technical documentation, configuration records, operational procedures, status updates, incident reports, and project deliverables.

|
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Sponsorship may be considered where permitted by company policy and project requirements.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with MOVEit Transfer and MOVEit Automation in an enterprise environment.
- Experience with secure file-transfer integrations and automated workflows.
