Job Description :
Gap Assessment of Pearlcare’s Oracle Goldengate integration and DR architecture;
develop cloud-native design and architecture approach.
Verify and execute up to four (4) security scripts and health checks on Oracle Golden Gate.
Coordination with the Customer security team to identify, track and troubleshoot.
Document relevant compliance information.
The role is essentially an Oracle GoldenGate / Database DR specialist working alongside your Azure and Zerto architects.
The core skills are: Oracle GoldenGate administration and architecture — understanding extract/replicat processes, replication topology, and integration patterns well enough to assess an existing estate and identify gaps.
Underlying Oracle Database knowledge supports this, since GoldenGate sits on the database layer.
DR and cloud-native solution design — translating an on-prem GoldenGate setup into an Azure-based DR target, and collaborating on RPO/RTO alignment with the broader Zerto-based DR design.
Scripting and operational health-checks — ability to verify and execute the security scripts and run GoldenGate health/diagnostic checks (SQL plus shell scripting).
Security and compliance coordination — working with the customer's security team to identify, track, and troubleshoot issues, and documenting compliance information clearly.
