3Core Systems is looking for Systems Analyst 3 / Sr. Snowflake Admin for one of our clients in Austin, TX with Snowflake, Openflow, Snowflake AI, SSO integration skills.

Job Title: Systems Analyst 3 / Sr. Snowflake Admin

Location: Austin, TX 78751 (Onsite)

Duration: 12 Months

Interview: In-person interview

 

Note: The program will only allow candidates who are LOCAL TO THE AUSTIN AREA ONLY.

Please do not submit candidates who are currently out of state and are planning to move to Texas. Candidates must already reside in Texas.

 

Level Description:

  • 8 or more years of experience, relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals, independently performs a variety of complicated tasks, a wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.

 

Job Description:

  • Understands business objectives and problems, identifies alternative solutions, performs studies and cost/benefit analysis of alternatives.
  • Analyzes user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate processing or to improve existing computer system: Confers with personnel of organizational units involved to analyze current operational procedures, identify problems, and learn specific input and output requirements, such as forms of data input, how data is to be; summarized, and formats for reports.
  • Writes detailed description of user needs, program functions, and steps required to develop or modify computer program.
  • Reviews computer system capabilities, specifications, and scheduling limitations to determine if requested program or program change is possible within existing system.

 

Additional job details and special considerations:

  • Snowflake Administrator responsible for managing and optimizing the Snowflake platform, including RBAC, SSO integration, and enterprise data governance.
  • Enables AI capabilities using Snowflake Cortex while supporting data pipelines with DBT and Openflow.
  • Ensures secure, scalable, and cost-efficient data platform operations across environments.

 

Minimum Requirements:

Candidates that do not meet or exceed the minimum stated requirements (skills/experience) will be displayed to customers but may not be chosen for this opportunity.

  • 8 Years Required - Strong hands-on experience administering Snowflake platform (DBA/Admin role).
  • 8 Years Required - Experience implementing RBAC and data access governance.
  • 8 Years Required - Experience with SSO integration (Okta, SailPoint).
  • 8 Years Required - Enable and support Snowflake AI (Cortex) features, including AI functions, governance, and monitoring.
  • 8 Years Required - Design and manage Snowflake roles, privileges, and user provisioning aligned with enterprise IAM processes.
  • 8 Years Required - Build and support data pipelines and transformations using DBT.
  • 8 Years Required - Integrate Snowflake with Openflow (or similar orchestration tools) for workflow automation.
  • 8 Years Required - Monitor and optimize warehouse performance, cost, and query execution.
  • 8 Years Required - Implement security controls including encryption, masking, and audit monitoring.
  • 8 Years Required - Develop automation scripts for provisioning, monitoring, and maintenance.
  • 8 Years Required - Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and AI teams to support data and analytics use cases.
  • 4 Years Preferred - Experience with DevOps / CI-CD pipelines for data platforms.
  • 3 Years Preferred - Experience integrating Openflow or workflow orchestration tools.
  • 3 Years Preferred - Familiarity with public sector or healthcare compliance environments.
