Summary
Location: El Segundo, CA go onsite 3–4 days per week
Duration: 6+ Months
- 5+ years of experience as a Network Engineer with strong focus on network design
- Experience in designing and architecting complex LAN environments, preferably in the manufacturing space
- Strong knowledge of routing, VLANs, subnetting, and voice/video protocols
- Experience with wired and wireless campus Ethernet technologies
- Understanding of network security protocols, firewalls, and VPNs
- Ability to provide Level 3 support for incident/problem management and network troubleshooting
- Experience with network monitoring and analysis tools
- Knowledge of network performance optimization including QoS, load balancing, and traffic shaping
- Strong documentation skills to create and maintain network diagrams and configurations
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams including WAN/MAN, cabling teams, and project managers
- CCNA certification or equivalent experience (4–5 years)
- Knowledge of RFID passive/active technologies is a plus
