For top skills, looking for someone who has executed commissioning, qualification, and validation of equipment in construction projects within the pharmaceutical industry or for suppliers for the pharmaceutical industry. Writing and executing protocols and reports for installation and operational qualification will be key.
Prepares and executes all protocols and reports for validation work. May coordinate all validation activities by constant communication with related departments and personnel; oversees and reviews validation area processes and procedures. May require a bachelor's/master's degree in engineering and experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
Work with requestors to ensure that requirements are clear and deliverable Field inspect equipment to determine full scope of work and materials and labor required to complete requests Coordinate schedule for multiple projects for several workstream leaders Translate engineering designs and direction into actionable plans for site and 3rd party contractors Manage and maintain schedules for project execution Define materials needed for equipment upgrades and modifications Write 3rd party vendor scope of work documents including for engineering design and service work Manage and monitor field execution of 3rd party contractor work
Work with internal stakeholders to understand safety and quality requirements to ensure that solutions and documentation align with internal specifications and code requirements
Understanding of life science and chemical industry manufacturing practices Strong organization and planning skills Understanding of mechanical, electrical, and instrumentations systems
Education:
Associates or bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or related field Experience in chemical or pharmaceutical manufacturing with Federal Drug Administration Good Manufacturing Practices Policies Experience working within Occupational Safety and Health Administration's Code of Federal Regulation 1910.119 covering process safety management for highly hazardous chemicals
