Location: Minneapolis, MN (Preferred) | Charlotte, NC (Secondary Preference) | Chandler, AZ (Considered)
Work Model: Hybrid (3 days onsite, 2 days remote)
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4+ years of experience in Business Execution, Business Analysis, Implementation, Strategic Planning, Incentive Compensation, or related fields.
  • Experience gathering and documenting business requirements and translating them into technical specifications.
  • Experience performing data analysis, validation, and reconciliation activities.
  • Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver business solutions.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Varicent Incentive Compensation Management (ICM) platform.
  • Knowledge of incentive compensation, sales compensation, or commission management processes.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and Scrum teams.
  • Experience in application testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and defect resolution.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Experience supporting enterprise data integration and onboarding initiatives.
About the Role

As a Varicent Analyst, you will partner with business stakeholders, product teams, and technology organizations to design, implement, and support incentive compensation solutions. You will play a critical role in translating business requirements into data-driven solutions, ensuring compensation programs are accurately configured, tested, and maintained within the Varicent platform.

You will collaborate across multiple teams to analyze complex business problems, support large-scale compensation initiatives, and help drive operational excellence through data analysis, process improvement, and solution delivery.
Responsibilities
  • Partner with business stakeholders, product managers, and technology teams to implement and enhance incentive compensation solutions using Varicent.
  • Gather, analyze, and document business, compensation, and product requirements.
  • Translate business requirements into detailed technical and data specifications, including field-level definitions, transformation logic, and validation rules.
  • Perform data analysis to validate source data, identify risks, troubleshoot issues, and support business decision-making.
  • Collaborate with data engineering, product, and technology teams to ensure successful solution delivery and implementation.
  • Create and maintain process documentation, business requirements, data dictionaries, and workflow diagrams.
  • Support system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), reconciliation activities, and production validation.
  • Investigate and resolve data quality, reporting, and compensation calculation issues.
  • Contribute to enterprise data discovery, onboarding, and integration initiatives.
  • Support moderately complex business execution initiatives and participate in strategic planning efforts related to compensation operations and technology solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies, procedures, governance standards, and regulatory requirements.
