What We Need Corpay is currently looking to hire an Engineering Manager to lead the Invoice team within our Corpay Payables division. This position falls under our Corporate Payables line of business and can be based out of our Sacramento, CA office location. In this role, you will be building core invoice automation capabilities that power our platform and directly impact customers. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone with deep technical judgment, strong people leadership, and sharp product intuition. You've shipped and scaled enterprise grade SaaS products and operate effectively in complex, collaborative, outcome focused environments. In this role, you will be reporting into the VP of Technology for the Corpay Complete team.
How We Work As an Engineering Manager, you will be expected to work out of our office in Sacramento, CA. Corpay will set you up for success by providing:

Role Responsibilities: The responsibilities of the role will include:
- Leading a high-performing, full-stack engineering team delivering high-impact invoice features
- Partnering closely with Product and Design to turn ambiguous problems into clear technical plans and roadmaps
- Driving execution, unblock teams quickly, and balance speed, quality, and long-term scalability
- Staying hands-on with architecture, design reviews, and system-level decisions
- Leading AI-driven development practices to ensure predictable delivery and high engineering standards
Qualifications and Skills: - 10+ years of software engineering experience, including 5+ years leading engineering teams
- Strong background as a backend or full-stack engineer
- Experience with Ruby on Rails, Node.js, React, PostgreSQL, AWS
- Proven ability to partner effectively with Product, Design and Operations
- High ownership, bias for action, and strong communication skills
- Curiosity and growth mindset, with a strong interest in leveraging AI to accelerate impact (GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT Codex)
- Bonus: Experience or familiarity with LangChain, AWS AgentCore, Vercel AI SDK, and ML frameworks

The estimate of the minimum and maximum salary range is $140,600-$175,000.
