Role Overview

A highly analytical Finance professional with 8 years of hands-on experience in financial data warehousing (FDW), Power BI reporting, Oracle financial reporting, Workiva, and JD Edwards (JDE).

The role is responsible for delivering accurate financial insights, reconciliation, management reporting, and audit/compliance support, while contributing to FP&A processes including budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis.

Key Responsibilities

1. Financial Data Management & Reporting (FDW / Oracle / JDE)

•            Extract, transform, and manage financial data from FDW, Oracle, and JDE systems for reporting and analysis.

•            Develop and maintain Oracle-based financial reports (OTBI / BI Publisher) and JDE reporting outputs.

•            Ensure data integrity, consistency, and accuracy across ERP and reporting platforms.

2. Power BI Dashboarding & Analytics

•            Design and develop interactive Power BI dashboards for financial and operational metrics.

•            Build data models and visualizations to track P&L, balance sheet, cost trends, and performance KPIs.

•            Enable stakeholders to derive insights through automated and real-time reporting.

3. Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Support

•            Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning cycles.

•            Perform variance analysis (actual vs budget/forecast) and identify key financial drivers.

•            Assist in building financial models and scenario analysis to support decision-making.

4. Excel Modeling & Financial Analysis

•            Develop advanced Excel-based financial models for forecasting, reconciliation, and reporting.

•            Perform data consolidation, sensitivity analysis, and automation of reporting templates.

•            Enhance efficiency through formula optimization, macros, and structured modeling techniques.

5. Financial Reconciliation & Controls

•            Perform GL and subledger reconciliations to ensure alignment across systems (FDW, Oracle, JDE).

•            Identify discrepancies and execute root cause analysis and resolution.

•            Maintain robust financial controls to ensure accuracy of reporting outputs.

6. Management Reporting

•            Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual management reports for leadership.

•            Deliver insights on financial performance, trends, variances, and risks.

•            Translate financial data into clear business intelligence and actionable insights.

7. Workiva – Reporting, Audit & Compliance

•            Utilize Workiva platform for integrated financial reporting, regulatory filings, and audit documentation.

•            Ensure reports are audit-ready with complete traceability and control frameworks.

•            Support preparation of compliance reports, disclosures, and regulatory submissions.

8. Audit & Compliance Reporting

•            Support internal and external audits by providing financial reconciliations, schedules, and documentation.

•            Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, accounting standards, and corporate policies.

•            Maintain audit trails and validate controls for financial reporting accuracy.

9. Process Improvement & Automation

•            Identify automation opportunities across reporting and reconciliation processes.

•            Improve efficiency by integrating BI tools, FDW data sources, and reporting frameworks.

•            Participate in system enhancements, UAT, and reporting transformations.

10. Stakeholder Management

•            Collaborate with FP&A, Accounting, Audit, and Business teams.

•            Provide financial insights and reporting solutions aligned with business goals.

•            Act as a bridge between data/technical teams and finance stakeholders.

Required Skills & Expertise

•            Strong hands-on experience in:

o            FDW (Financial Data Warehouse)

o            Power BI (dashboarding, DAX, data modeling)

o            Oracle Reporting (OTBI / BI Publisher)

o            JD Edwards (JDE financial reporting)

o            Workiva (financial reporting & compliance platform)

•            Advanced proficiency in:

o            Excel financial modeling and analytics

o            Financial reconciliation and reporting controls

•            Strong knowledge of:

o            FP&A processes (budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis)

o            Management and regulatory reporting

o            Audit and compliance frameworks

Experience & Qualifications

•            8 years of hands-on experience in financial reporting, analytics, and FP&A support

•            Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field

•            MBA / CA / CMA preferred
