Miller Motor Company is seeking a B-Level Automotive Technician to join our busy independent repair shop in Centre Hall, PA. This position offers $20?$30/hour with a flexible hybrid pay structure, a Monday?Friday schedule, and a supportive team environment. You\'ll work on a wide variety of Domestic, European, Asian, and light fleet vehicles while expanding your diagnostic skills in a clean, organized shop equipped with modern technology. Key Responsibilities
- Perform general automotive repairs and preventive maintenance.
- Complete vehicle inspections and document findings using Tekmetric Digital Vehicle Inspections (DVI).
- Diagnose and repair drivability concerns and assist with electrical diagnostics.
- Perform brake, steering, suspension, and engine repairs.
- Service Domestic, European, Asian, and light fleet vehicles.
- Use Autel and Snap-on diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot vehicle concerns.
- Collaborate with the Service Advisor, onsite Carquest parts department, and Shop Manager to maintain efficient workflow.
- Focus on repairing vehicles while the dedicated parts team manages parts sourcing.
Qualifications
- At least 3 years of recent professional automotive technician experience.
- Strong general automotive repair and maintenance experience.
- Basic automotive diagnostic and drivability troubleshooting skills.
- Pennsylvania Inspection and Emissions Licenses required.
- Experience servicing Domestic, European, and Asian vehicles.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Independent repair shop experience is preferred.
- ASE Certifications are welcomed.
- Experience with Tekmetric or another shop management/DVI system is preferred (training available).
- Experience using Autel and Snap-on diagnostic equipment is preferred.
