Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Kubernetes Administrator & Application Developer to support cloud-native application development and infrastructure operations. This role requires hands-on expertise in Kubernetes cluster administration and application deployment, with a strong preference for experience in Red Hat OpenShift environments, particularly on bare-metal infrastructure.

The ideal candidate will work closely with development and DevOps teams to ensure scalable, secure, and high-performing containerized applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with development teams to deploy, scale, and manage cloud-native applications
• Administer and maintain Kubernetes clusters across bare-metal and OpenShift platforms
• Monitor cluster health and troubleshoot performance, availability, and reliability issues
• Automate infrastructure and operational workflows using Ansible, Helm, and scripting tools
• Implement and enforce security best practices and compliance standards
• Optimize cluster performance, resource utilization, and application scalability
• Support CI/CD integration and container lifecycle management

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of relevant professional experience beyond degree requirements
• Bachelor s Degree in Computer Science or related field
• Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered

Required Skills

• Strong experience in developing and deploying Kubernetes-based applications
• Hands-on experience administering Kubernetes clusters (bare metal and/or cloud)
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash and Python
• Solid understanding of Kubernetes networking, storage, and security models
• Experience with automation and Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Ansible, Helm)
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities

Preferred Skills

• Hands-on experience with Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform
• Strong Linux system administration background
• Experience working in enterprise-scale or regulated environments
