Summary
Title: PCB Layout Designer (Mentor Xpedition)
Duration: 6-months+ with potential Contract-to-hire
Location: Costa Mesa, CA onsite or secondarily remote
Role Description
We are seeking a PCB Layout Designer for a full-time or part-time on-site or remote role. The ideal candidate will design and optimize complex analog, RF, microwave, and digital circuit boards. Responsibilities include collaborating with engineering teams to meet design and performance requirements, using tools such as Mentor Xpedition, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and project timelines.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in layout design using Xpedition flow
- Experience/highly skilled in the layout of complex multi-layer analog, RF/microwave, and digital boards
- Expert with Siemens/Mentors Xpedition EDA tools and flow
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary engineering teams
- Bachelor s degree (or equivalent preferred) in EE/Computer science
- Experience in aerospace or telecommunications environments preferred
