Senior Software Engineer

Location: Irvine, California (Onsite)

Role Overview

We are seeking a Full-Stack Software Development Engineer for a high-impact initiative focused on improving incident management systems and operational efficiency. This role will design and deliver tools that reduce manual operational work and improve the speed and reliability of incident response processes. This is an opportunity to contribute to internal platforms that support critical engineering teams in a high-scale, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deliver full-stack features supporting incident management tools.
• Build automation and tooling to reduce operational toil and improve team efficiency.
• Contribute across the full software development lifecycle: design, development, testing, and deployment.
• Develop backend services and APIs using Java-based frameworks.
• Build and enhance frontend components using modern JavaScript frameworks like Vue.js.
• Own both development and testing responsibilities for delivered features.
• Collaborate with engineering teams through code reviews, agile ceremonies, and design discussions.

Required Qualifications

• Prior experience as a Software Development Engineer (SDE II or higher) within a large-scale enterprise engineering environment, including its tools and coding standards.
• Ability to work onsite in Irvine, CA.
• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Backend-heavy full-stack engineering skills with a primary focus on Java.
• Experience with modern frontend frameworks such as Vue.js or similar.
• Experience building APIs, services, and distributed systems.
• Proven ability to own and deliver features end-to-end, including both development and testing.
• Comfortable working in highly complex, pipeline-heavy environments and agile teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience building internal tools, automation, or operational platforms.
• Background in improving automation and efficiency.
• Familiarity with event-driven architectures and messaging systems.
• Knowledge of CI/CD processes and software delivery pipelines.
• Experience with cloud-based environments.
