Job Title: Payments Architect / Sr. Technical Architect

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly experienced Payments Architect with a strong Java background and deep expertise in the Payments & Cards domain. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on Solution Architect capable of designing high-level architectures, frameworks, and Proof of Concepts (PoCs), while also contributing to development when needed. Experience in Google Cloud Platform environment is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop scalable, secure architectures for payment systems
• Create high-level solution designs, flows, frameworks, and PoCs
• Collaborate with business and technical teams to define and implement solutions
• Work extensively on payments and cards domain functionalities
• Implement cloud-based solutions using Google Cloud Platform (preferred), AWS, or Azure
• Lead integration with third-party payment APIs and services
• Ensure compliance with payment industry standards and regulations
• Conduct code reviews and enforce best practices
• Optimize system performance and scalability
• Support deployment, monitoring, and production issue resolution
• Mentor junior team members and provide technical leadership
• Maintain technical documentation and architecture artifacts

Required Skills:

• Strong expertise in Core Java & Spring Boot
• Extensive experience in Payments & Cards domain (Must Have)
• Hands-on experience as a Solution/Technical Architect
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform environment (Preferred)
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS / Google Cloud Platform / Azure)
• Experience with API integrations and distributed systems

• Strong Java Background
• Hands-on Architecture (Design + Development)

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with modern payment platforms and processing systems
• Familiarity with microservices architecture
• Experience in high-volume transaction systems
