Summary

job summary:

We are seeking a motivated Business Systems Analyst and WAMS Technical Resource to support large-scale information technology projects for a major utility client. In this role, you will play a crucial part in upgrading, maintaining, and running data operations within an Oracle Utilities Work and Asset Management (WAMS) ecosystem, ensuring seamless transitions toward modern cloud architectures.

responsibilities:

Support, maintain, and troubleshoot backend integration processes within Oracle Utilities WAMS v1.9x.


Build and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and Unix/Shell scripts for secure automation and ETL pipelines.


Map complex data structures and translate technical business requirements into actionable data-exchange workflows (CSV, XML, JSON).


Collaborate with teams on localized asset management, executing occasional hybrid/fieldwork adjustments to verify the physical electrical model.




qualifications:

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS


Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (equivalent experience considered).


5+ years of hands-on backend development and integration experience utilizing Oracle Utilities WAM.


Strong proficiency in SQL programming, relational databases, Shell scripting, and Unix/Linux workflows.


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS


Prior experience working within municipal or regulated utility operations.


Experience migrating legacy automated data pipelines into Oracle Cloud Object Storage or cloud-native ecosystems.


Background in electrical data analysis and asset management workflows.
