Job DescriptionMAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:- Maintain the Process Hazard Analysis, P&IDs (process and instrumentation diagrams), procedures and electrical schematics.
- Maintain the PLC program, HMI program, database and Information Systems.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and instrument problems.
- Design, test, troubleshoot, and oversee implementation of new processes. Design and install retrofits to existing systems
- Create and implement new strategies and new automation processes to improve process efficiency.
- Maintain quality assurance on the control systems in manufacturing.
- Maintain the controls for facility equipment.
MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:Education:- Bachelor of Science In Chemical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
Certification / Licensure:Work Experience:- Experience with instrumentation & controls in a manufacturing environment.
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities:- Experience identifying operational issues and recommending and implementing strategies to resolve problems.
- Experience using time management skills such as prioritizing/organizing and tracking details and meeting deadlines of multiple projects with varying completion dates.
- Position requires work on extended and /or "odd" or "on call" hours as business needs dictate.
PREFERRED JOB REQUIREMENTS:Education:Certification / Licensure:- Professional Engineering License.
- EIT (Engineering in Training) completion.
Work Experience:- At least 2 years of engineering experience with instrumentation & controls in a manufacturing environment.
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities:- Proficient in Allen Bradley RSLogix 5000, RSViewSE, Vantage Point, Historian, SQL.

The anticipated salary range for this position:
$85,000.00 - $128,000.00 Annual
The actual salary will vary based on applicant's location, education, experience, skills, and abilities. This role is bonus and/or incentive eligible. Medline will not pay less than the applicable minimum wage or salary threshold.
