SAP BASIS Administrator

Introduction:

This position requires a minimum of ten years of experience in leading architecture design and implementation, with a focus on SAP infrastructure operations. The SAP BASIS Administrator will be responsible for managing the performance of the SAP landscape, troubleshooting issues, and working closely with infrastructure teams. Additionally, the role involves interfacing with 3rd-party applications and participating in IT Change Management processes.

Responsibilities:

• Act as the primary point of contact for all SAP Basis issues related to the SAP environment.
• Collaborate with infrastructure teams to troubleshoot and resolve problems.
• Effectively manage the workload of the Basis team.
• Manage the performance of the SAP landscape, including capacity planning and tuning.
• Coordinate with other Basis product leads to ensure software consistency across the SAP landscape.
• Participate in the IT Change Management process and validate/approve all SAP related changes.
• Stay up-to-date with new developments and future trends in SAP technology.
• Work with internal and external customers to understand their requirements and form a forward-thinking architectural vision for the Company's infrastructure.
• Provide input on, and support new projects affecting the SAP environments.
• Engage and interface directly with SAP for product support and questions.

Requirements:

Required Skills:

• Experience with multiple SAP implementation lifecycles.
• Experience with SAP S/4, SAP ECC system on Oracle Database, and SAP HANA DBA.
• Experience with SAP RCA and BPiM tools.
• Experience working with 3rd-party applications like Vendavo, Vertex, and Redwood/CPS.
• Experience in SAP Infrastructure operations.
• Knowledge of IT Change Management processes.
• Validation skills.
