Vega is hiring!  Business Systems Data Analyst -- for our direct client. Candidates must be able to work as a W2 employee. No C2C consultants or employers. Sponsorship is not available.

SUMMARY

We are seeking Business Systems Data Analyst.  The Candidate will have the responsibility for eliciting business needs, performing detailed analysis and documentation, modeling processes, evaluating impacts, prioritizing business requests, and partnering with the project teams to ensure the successful delivery of new Cloud-Data Lake capabilities in support of various applications.

Job Requirement

• 7+ years of IT experience; preferably in enterprise Business-to-Business durable goods, construction, or building materials manufacturing.
• 7+ years’ experience in systems analysis, data analysis and design with proven record of successful large scale project implementations
• Handson experience working with ERP Systems
• SAP experience with datasets such as sales, purchasing, inventory management, Integrated Business Planning (IBP).
• Work with mapping the SAP datasets in a non SAP cloud platform e.g. for Sales Datasets - modeling of sales orders with invoices, shipment, master data etc.
• Ability to write functional specifications of the data sets created.
• Experience in SDLC and Agile/Scrum methodology, including: eliciting/documenting user stories/acceptance criteria, backlog management, and Sprint reviews.
• Modeling experience (e.g., process flows, use cases, swim lane diagrams, AS-IS / TO-BE diagrams, mock-ups/wireframes)
• Experience in Google Cloud technology is a plus
• Experience in data modeling
• Experience in process re-engineering
• Analytical tools such as PowerBI, Microstrategy, Tableau.
• Knowledge of Information Security Awareness
• Understanding of web applications
• Experience in Jira is a plus
• Manufacturing experience highly preferred
• Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or similar certification is a plus.
