InvestM is seeking an experienced Full Stack .NET Developer / Senior Technical Lead with strong expertise in C#, .NET Core, React, Microsoft Azure, and microservices architecture. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial services, preferably asset management, and hands-on experience modernizing legacy applications into scalable, cloud-native solutions.

This role requires a technically strong professional who can assess architectural approaches, lead technical design decisions, and deliver solutions across multiple technology platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Modernize legacy Windows Forms (WinForms) applications by migrating functionality to React-based user interfaces and .NET microservices.
  • Design, develop, deploy, and maintain cloud-native applications using Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure App Services, Azure Functions, and related Azure services.
  • Enhance and support existing applications built with C#, .NET Core, ASP.NET MVC, ASP.NET WebForms, React, REST APIs, and Web APIs.
  • Develop secure, scalable, and high-performance web applications using OAuth 2.0, JWT, Entity Framework, LINQ, jQuery, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and Bootstrap.
  • Design and implement microservices architectures and modernize legacy .NET applications for cloud deployment.
  • Build and maintain database solutions using SQL Server, T-SQL, stored procedures, triggers, functions, and database optimization techniques.
  • Configure, monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize application performance using Azure Monitor and other observability tools.
  • Leverage Azure services, including Azure Logic Apps, Azure Storage, Azure Active Directory (Azure AD), and Azure DevOps (ADO), to build and support enterprise applications.
  • Evaluate architectural options and recommend solutions that address scalability, high availability, fault tolerance, security, and maintainability.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, engineering teams, and senior management to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Serve as a technical subject matter expert for asset management technology platforms and related financial services applications.
  • Manage technical priorities, communicate risks and dependencies, and ensure successful delivery across multiple concurrent initiatives.

Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years of progressive software development experience, preferably within financial services or asset management organizations.
  • Strong hands-on expertise in C#, .NET Core, ASP.NET MVC, ASP.NET WebForms, and full-stack web application development.
  • Strong front-end development experience with React, JavaScript, jQuery, HTML, CSS, and Bootstrap.
  • Proven experience designing, developing, and integrating REST APIs, Web APIs, and web services.
  • Experience with Entity Framework, LINQ, OAuth 2.0, and JWT-based authentication and authorization.
  • 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services, including Azure App Services, Azure Functions, Azure Logic Apps, Azure Storage, Azure AD, and Azure DevOps.
  • Hands-on experience with application modernization, microservices architecture, and cloud deployment using AKS and/or Azure App Services.
  • 5+ years of SQL development experience, including complex queries, stored procedures, triggers, functions, and database performance tuning.
  • Experience working with SQL Server or Snowflake.
  • Strong understanding of cloud architecture, distributed systems, high availability, fault tolerance, scalability, and application security.
  • Strong architectural assessment, technical design, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively with technical teams, business stakeholders, and senior decision-makers.
  • Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and contribute effectively within a collaborative engineering environment.
