Position Title: RF Optimization Engineer III
Position Duties:
Perform RF network performance optimization covering field and KPI optimization using parameter tuning. Responsible for day-to-day customer interaction on planning and execution of PoC/trials and deployment of networks. Work with customer's RAN RF/transport/IP/Security/Cloud teams on collection of planning inputs, deployment to prepare the lab and field configuration files. Provide the necessary inputs back to engineering teams for solution validation. Troubleshoot RF and software/hardware related issues impacting the performance. Work towards KPI acceptance for trial site/markets. Analyze and generate KPI reports. Follow up with remote engineering and Level 3 support teams for issue resolution. Provide Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to the customer. Build test plans and execution strategies for qualification of new products and features. Implement and test new products and features in customer lab and field environments. Perform Golden configuration finalization for different deployments. Work closely with Tier1/Tier2/Tier3 teams on performance related issues. Coordinate, guide, and supervise field drive test teams for testing the RF environment during field trial and deployment phases. Perform parameter audits on a regular basis. Evaluate various testing and tool vendors and service sub vendors. Develop various guidelines, process, and MOP documents.

Work may be performed at various, unanticipated locations throughout the U.S.

Work Location: 999 West Big Beaver Rd. Troy, Michigan 48084
Work Hours: 8 AM to 5 PM
Minimum Qualifications: US Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Electrical Engineering or Electronic Engineering and two (2) years of experience as an RF/system engineering professional.

Special Skill Requirements: Must have two (2) years of experience in each of the following skills: 5G, 4G, NR, LTE, GSM, mMIMO, VoLTE, XCAL, XCAP, QXDM, TEMS, NEMO, and ACTIX.
