Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM Technical Lead

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM Technical Lead to lead the design, development, and implementation of enterprise-scale Dynamics 365 CRM solutions. The ideal candidate will provide technical leadership, guide development teams, and ensure scalable, secure, and high-performance D365 implementations aligned with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the Technical Lead for Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM implementations.

• Design and oversee technical architecture for Dynamics 365 solutions.

• Lead development of C# plugins, custom workflows, and extensions.

• Guide teams in building Power Platform solutions (Power Apps, Power Automate, PCF).

• Design and implement Dataverse data models, relationships, and security roles.

• Develop and integrate .NET / Web API services with Dynamics 365.

• Lead system integrations using REST/SOAP APIs with ERP, SAP, and legacy systems.

• Provide technical governance and ensure adherence to Microsoft best practices.

• Support CI/CD pipelines and ALM using Azure DevOps.

• Troubleshoot complex production issues and performance bottlenecks.

• Collaborate with functional consultants to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

• Review code, enforce standards, and mentor junior developers.

• Support UAT, deployment, and post-go-live stabilization.

• Communicate technical designs and risks to stakeholders and leadership.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM / Dynamics CRM.

• Strong hands-on experience with C#, .NET, plugins, workflows, and Web APIs.

• Expertise in Dataverse, entity modeling, security, and business rules.

• Experience with Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, PCF Controls).

• Strong experience with Azure services and integrations.

• Experience using Azure DevOps for source control and CI/CD pipelines.

• Solid understanding of CRM solution architecture and integration patterns.

• Experience leading development teams in Agile/Scrum environments.

• Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Nice to Have / Preferred

• Experience with Dynamics 365 Customer Service, Sales, or Field Service modules.

• Exposure to AI, Copilot, and automation features in Dynamics 365.

• Microsoft Dynamics certifications (preferred).

• Experience in government or large enterprise environments.

• Knowledge of React or modern frontend frameworks for custom UI components.
