Senior Azure DevOps Engineer / Onsite / Phoenix

A government-focused technology team is hiring a Senior Azure DevOps Engineer in Phoenix, AZ (onsite). This is a full-time role centered around mission-critical .NET applications running entirely in Microsoft Azure. The position focuses on production support, cloud operations, and maintaining uptime and reliability across highly visible, large-scale systems.

This is a high-impact, hands-on role where you will be directly responsible for keeping critical systems running in real time. They are looking for someone who thrives in production environments, enjoys troubleshooting complex issues, and can take ownership of incident response, release coordination, and automation. The biggest draw here is the level of ownership and visibility you will have you will be working on systems that impact a large user base daily, while continuing to build deep expertise in Azure, CI/CD pipelines, and automation in a fast-paced environment.

Required Skills & Experience
5+ years of experience supporting applications in a production environment
Strong experience with Microsoft Azure
Experience supporting .NET applications in a production setting
Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, ideally using Azure DevOps
Experience with incident management, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis
Scripting experience with PowerShell or Python

Desired Skills & Experience
Experience in a senior-level individual contributor role
Experience in a government or public sector environment
Familiarity with high availability and mission-critical systems
Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Application Insights or Splunk
Experience improving automation and deployment processes
