Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled SQL Server SSIS Developer to join our remote team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust ETL processes using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS). This role plays a critical part in ensuring data integrity, availability, and performance across enterprise systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, test, and deploy SSIS packages to extract, transform, and load data from various sources

  • Write efficient and optimized T-SQL scripts, stored procedures, views, and functions

  • Maintain and troubleshoot existing SSIS packages and SQL Server jobs

  • Work closely with business analysts, data architects, and application developers to support data integration needs

  • Monitor and tune SQL queries and SSIS performance

  • Ensure data quality and consistency across systems

  • Assist in data migration and warehousing efforts

  • Implement error handling, logging, and notification frameworks in ETL processes

Required Qualifications:
  • 3 7+ years of hands-on experience with SQL Server (2016 or later)

  • Deep expertise in SSIS, including package creation, deployment, and automation

  • Proficient in T-SQL, with strong knowledge of joins, indexes, and query optimization

  • Experience with job scheduling tools (SQL Server Agent or others)

  • Strong understanding of data warehousing, ETL principles, and relational database design

  • Ability to troubleshoot complex data issues

  • Excellent communication and documentation skills

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with SSRS or SSAS

  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure SQL, AWS RDS, etc.)

  • Understanding of Agile/Scrum development practices

  • Healthcare, financial, or logistics data experience is a plus

  • Experience with version control tools (e.g., Git)
