Summary

Hansen Talent Group is seeking an IT Program Manager to support strategic IT efforts including on-going efforts to improve security standings, implement emerging technologies, and support on-going modernization and cloud migration efforts across the organization. 

The IT Program Manager willlead and support complex, multi-stakeholder technology projects from initiation through closure. The role will ensure clear requirements, well-defined scope, effective communication, and disciplined project execution.

Duties:
  • ​Lead end-to-end project and program delivery, including scope and schedul development, budget management, risk mitigation, quality control, stakeholder communication, and resource coordination.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, RAID logs, communication plans, status reports, and executive update.
  • Define current-state and future-state processes, workflows, and data flows; quantify KPIs and business values as well as provide build vs buy comparisions to support senior decision making.
  • Facilitate work sessions and manage cross-functional teams including internal IT, vendors, SMEs, and agency partners.
  • Identify risks and issues; recommend and implement proactive mitigation strategies to ensure successful delivery.
  • Support procurement processes as needed (RFPs, SOWs, vendor oversight) consistent with state and Admin procurement standard
  • Develop change management and communication plans, supporting successful adoption of solutions and ensure release readiness.
  • Ensure compliance with agency policies, security requirements, records management standards, and project governance frameworks
  • Develop detailed project and program documentation to support efforts.
Qualifications:
  • Experience leading IT projects and programs supporting enterprise efforts including migrations/modernization initiatives, security enhancements, and AI implementations.
  • PMP
