About the RoleWe are seeking a Test Technician to support the testing, validation, and troubleshooting of electronic and electromechanical systems. In this role, you will perform hands-on testing, document results, identify issues, and collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to ensure products meet quality, reliability, and performance requirements.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, technically skilled, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where accuracy and quality are critical.
Responsibilities- Perform functional, environmental, and performance testing on products, components, and systems.
- Execute test procedures and document results accurately and completely.
- Set up, operate, and maintain test equipment and instrumentation.
- Troubleshoot failures and collaborate with engineers to identify root causes.
- Monitor testing activities and ensure compliance with established procedures and quality standards.
- Record test data, prepare reports, and maintain accurate documentation.
- Support product validation, qualification, and reliability testing efforts.
- Assist with equipment calibration, maintenance, and laboratory organization.
- Follow all safety protocols and operational guidelines.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance testing efficiency and product quality.
Minimum Qualifications- High School Diploma, Trade School Diploma, or equivalent technical training.
- Basic understanding of electronics, electrical systems, or electromechanical assemblies.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documentation, work instructions, and test procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and electronic documentation systems.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Preferred Qualifications- Associate degree or technical certification in Electronics, Electrical Technology, Engineering Technology, or a related field.
- Experience in a testing, manufacturing, laboratory, or engineering environment.
- Familiarity with oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies, and other electronic test equipment.
- Experience troubleshooting electronic assemblies and systems.
- Knowledge of quality management systems and testing best practices.
