Job Description
We are seeking a skilled AWS Engineer responsible for designing, implementing, managing, and optimizing cloud infrastructure on Amazon Web Services. The role involves infrastructure automation, security implementation, monitoring, and supporting highly available, scalable cloud solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Design, deploy, and manage scalable, secure, and highly available infrastructure on Amazon Web Services (AWS).
Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
Configure and manage AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM, CloudFront, and ELB.
Automate deployment pipelines using CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or AWS CodePipeline.
Implement monitoring and logging solutions using CloudWatch and CloudTrail.
Ensure cloud security best practices including IAM roles, policies, encryption, and network security.
Optimize cloud cost management using AWS Cost Explorer and Trusted Advisor.
Troubleshoot performance issues and provide root cause analysis.
Collaborate with DevOps, Security, and Application teams for seamless cloud integration.
Perform backup, disaster recovery, and high availability configurations.

AWS Core Services: EC2, S3, EBS, RDS, DynamoDB
VPC, Subnets, Route Tables, NAT Gateway
IAM (Roles, Policies, Federation), ELB/ALB/NLB
CloudWatch, CloudTrail, Lambda & Serverless Architecture
DevOps & Automation: Terraform / CloudFormation, CI/CD (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, CodePipeline), Docker, Kubernetes (EKS), Bash / Python scripting
Security & Networking: Security Groups & NACL, WAF & Shield, SSL/TLS management, VPN & Direct Connect, Zero Trust principles
Monitoring & Logging: CloudWatch Metrics & Alarms, AWS Config, Log aggregation tools
Preferred Qualifications:
AWS Certified Solutions Architect / DevOps Engineer certification
Experience with container orchestration (EKS)
Knowledge of microservices and serverless architecture
Experience in multi-account AWS environment (Organizations, Control Tower)
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
