Job Description
We are looking for a highly skilled Data Migration SME with 8–10 years of experience to lead a massive email archive extraction project.
Key Roles:
· Leading the end-to-end technical migration of legacy email archives from Mimecast into Microsoft Azure Blob Storage.
· Extracting high-volume data using Mimecast APIs, native eDiscovery, and enterprise 3rd-party migration tools (e.g., Transvault, Nuix).
· Writing scripts (PowerShell/Python) to automate batching and manage API rate limits.
· Architecting and securing Azure Blob Storage containers (Hot/Cool/Archive tiers).
· Ensuring zero data loss and maintaining a legally defensible chain of custody.
What you need to bring:
· 8–10 years of experience in IT Infrastructure, Cloud Engineering, or Data Migration.
· Deep, hands-on experience with Mimecast Cloud Archive and bulk data exports.
· Proven expertise using REST APIs and 3rd-party extraction tools.
· Strong Microsoft Azure background (Blob Storage, RBAC, Data Lifecycle).
· Scripting proficiency for API automation and log-level troubleshooting.
