We're seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, Infrastructure Operations to join our Technology Services Group team. This role is in Pittsburgh or Lake Mary
In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways: - Investigate and Resolve Mainframe Performance issues
- Proactive System Monitoring to detect problems and to identify opportunities for improvement
- Implement WLM changes as needed
- Communicate with systems users to address mainframe performance or capacity consumption concerns and ensure that performance issues are handled appropriately
To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following: - Bachelor's degree in engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. - Advanced degree preferred. Typically, 6-10 years of experience.
- Strong leadership and strategic planning skills. - Exceptional problem-solving abilities and analytical skills. Experience in Mainframe Performance Tuning
- Knowledge and experience with WLM
- Knowledge of RMF/SMF systems metrics (CPU, Memory, I/O, Coupling Facility etc.)
- Strong Analytical and problem-solving skills
