RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Fort Lauderdale, FL that is seeking a Senior Workday Absence SME/Consultant to support a large-scale post-implementation Workday environment. This individual will serve as the subject matter expert for absence management processes, helping to resolve complex PTO issues, perform audits, validate data, and provide operational support following a recent Workday deployment.
Responsibilities:
* Serve as the primary subject matter expert for Workday Absence Management
* Analyze and resolve complex PTO and leave-related issues
* Perform absence audits, data validation, and reconciliation activities
* Review and correct PTO balances, configurations, and employee records
* Support ongoing post-go-live stabilization efforts
* Identify process improvement opportunities and recommend best practices
* Partner with HR, Benefits, Payroll, and business stakeholders to troubleshoot absence-related concerns
* Develop reports and analyze large data sets to ensure data integrity
* Document procedures and provide knowledge transfer to internal teams
* Assist with special projects related to absence management and HR operations
REQUIREMENTS:
* 5+ years of Workday Absence experience
* Experience supporting Workday post-go-live environments
* Strong understanding of PTO, leave administration, and absence management processes
* Advanced data analysis and auditing skills
* Strong Excel skills including pivot tables, formulas, and data validation
* Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
* Ability to work independently with minimal direction
Preferred Qualifications:
* Workday certifications are a plus
* Experience supporting large employee populations
* Exposure to Benefits or Payroll processes
* Prior consulting or project-based experience
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
