Our client, a leader in manufacturing and technical services, is seeking a Field Service Engineerto join their team. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be part of the Technical Support Department supporting the Service Team. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title:Field Service Engineer
Pay Range:$83,000 - $110,000
What\'s the Job?
\t- Provide maintenance, repair, and installation assistance for CNC machine tools on location or via telephone. \t
- Create and update technical documentation and generate reports related to service activities. \t
- Assist and train Customer?s Service Engineers on new product lines and maintenance procedures. \t
- Establish and maintain effective communication and customer service relationships with clients. \t
- Manage challenging customer situations professionally, respond promptly to needs, and solicit feedback for service improvement.
What\'s Needed?
\t- High School diploma or GED; Associate Degree in a technical field preferred. \t
- 3-5 years of experience in electrical and mechanical troubleshooting of CNC machine tools. \t
- Experience working with DMG or MORI SEIKI machines, Fanuc, Mitsubishi, or Siemens controls is a plus. \t
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a strong customer service focus. \t
- Ability to read mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and PLC ladder diagrams.
