Role Overview
The Chief Technology Officer (CTO) will serve as the strategic and operational technology leader, responsible for defining and executing the end-to-end technology vision, architecture, and innovation roadmap. The role combines oversight of the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) with business and consulting enablement centered around Data, Analytics, and Artificial Intelligence. The ideal candidate will be an entrepreneurial builder who has operated across product, services, and startup environments, successfully bringing technology solutions and platforms to market. A passionate techno-sales-business mindset who have taken products/ platforms to market / IPO would be an ideal fit.
Key Responsibilities
Technology Strategy and Leadership
- Define and lead the 3-year technology roadmap aligned to business growth objectives.
- Drive technology innovation across Data, AI, and Analytics capabilities to position the organization as a digital transformation leader.
- Establish best-in-class engineering, architecture, and DevOps practices to accelerate SDLC efficiency and product quality.
- Oversee platform modernizations, cloud strategy, and enterprise data architecture.
- Guide product and service development with a focus on scalability, security, and customer outcomes.
Data, Analytics, and AI Excellence
- Develop the company s data and AI strategy, leading the creation of advanced analytics solutions and AI-driven products.
- Collaborate with business and consulting teams to embed data intelligence into client solutions and enterprise decision-making.
- Champion ethical AI, governance, and data quality frameworks.
Execution and Operations
- Oversee engineering, product management, and architecture teams to drive efficient delivery through agile methodologies.
- Optimize the technology operating model including budgeting, resource allocation, and vendor ecosystem management.
- Define and manage technology KPIs and ensure consistent delivery against timelines and quality standards.
Cross-functional Leadership
- Partner with business, consulting, and sales leaders to identify new growth opportunities and client-facing innovations.
- Cultivate a culture of continuous learning, experimentation, and cross-disciplinary collaboration.
- Represent the company s technology vision with investors, clients, and strategic partners.
Desired Experience and Qualifications
- 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in technology, including 5+ years in a senior executive role (CTO, VP Engineering, Head of Technology).
- Proven record of building and scaling technology platforms or products from concept to commercial success.
- Significant experience in data engineering, analytics platforms, and AI/ML solution development.
- Background spanning both product and services organizations, ideally with exposure to startups or innovation labs.
- Strong knowledge of modern architectures (cloud-native, API-first, microservices, data mesh).
- Demonstrated ability to align technology outcomes with business goals and client value.
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field preferred; MBA is a plus.
