Description
We are looking for a Help Desk/Desktop Support Analyst to join our team in Malvern, Pennsylvania. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive technical support to faculty, staff, and students, ensuring smooth operation of IT systems and devices. This is a long-term contract position requiring hands-on expertise in resolving technical issues across mixed operating systems and environments, as well as assisting with audio/visual technology setups.
Responsibilities:
Deliver prompt and attentive deskside and helpdesk support to users, resolving technical issues efficiently.
Manage and support devices running MacOS, Windows, and ChromeOS.
Assist with the administration of Google Workspace and manage Chromebook devices.
Diagnose and troubleshoot networking problems, including Wi-Fi connectivity, printers, and other peripherals.
Provide technical assistance for audio/visual systems, including classroom projectors and event space audio equipment.
Collaborate with technical staff onsite to ensure coordinated support efforts.
Follow directives from a virtual technology team to align with organizational IT strategies.
Document resolutions, processes, and technical issues to build a comprehensive knowledge base.
Requirements
Previous experience delivering onsite deskside and helpdesk IT support.
Exceptional communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
Ability to assist users with diverse levels of technical proficiency.
Proficiency in managing devices across MacOS, Windows, and ChromeOS environments.
Solid troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
Demonstrated reliability and professionalism in a work environment.
Familiarity with Google Admin Console and Chromebook management is preferred.
Experience in educational institutions and knowledge of classroom or event A/V technology are advantageous.
