Job Title: Technical Business Analyst Developer Experience & Engineering Analytics
Location: Memphis, TN Onsite Overview We are seeking a Technical Business Analyst to help improve developer experience and software delivery performance. You will bring together data from multiple sources, build clear dashboards, and turn engineering metrics into practical recommendations for technical and nontechnical audiences.
Working with engineers, managers, directors, and product owners, you will identify delivery bottlenecks, help define success measures, and contribute to evolving processes. The role combines analysis, hands-on metrics-platform configuration, developer documentation, and support for tool adoption. The schedule is MondayFriday, 8:00 a.m.5:00 p.m., onsite in Memphis. Key Responsibilities Implement and maintain software delivery performance metrics through engineering analytics platforms and dashboards. Analyze DORA metrics, cycle time, pull request throughput, and other engineering KPIs to identify bottlenecks and improvement opportunities. Combine data from multiple sources into dashboards that communicate useful insights to engineering teams and nontechnical stakeholders. Configure engineering analytics tools and work with data from work-tracking and source-control systems to support measurement and reporting. Use telemetry and developer feedback to guide continuous improvement. Partner with engineering leadership to define success metrics and reporting cadences. Analyze existing developer platforms and related applications to inform enhancement decisions. Support engineering teams in building and maintaining self-service tools for infrastructure provisioning, CI/CD setup, software development, and environment management. Create and maintain developer documentation and onboarding guides. Support tool demonstrations and team training, explaining engineering metrics and how tools and processes can improve them. Present findings, share recommendations, and collaborate with stakeholders to develop practical solutions. Required Qualifications 5+ years of experience relevant to the responsibilities of this role. Strong understanding of software development, the developer journey, and software delivery performance metrics. Ability to analyze multiple data sources and create dashboards that communicate meaningful insights to technical and nontechnical audiences. Experience with engineering analytics platforms such as LinearB, Jellyfish, Haystack, or comparable tools. Experience with internal developer platforms such as Backstage or comparable platforms. Familiarity with developer tooling ecosystems, including IDEs, Git and source-control workflows, and CI/CD. Ability to measure and improve developer productivity using telemetry and feedback. Strong product thinking and empathy for developer workflows. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and cross-functional collaboration skills, including the ability to explain technical challenges and confidently present recommendations. Comfort helping shape and improve processes in an evolving area of focus. Experience with comparable CI/CD, source-control, and analytics tools is transferable.
