Summary

Responsibilities
  • Design and maintain cloud infrastructure on the AWS GovCloud platform, ensuring compliance with federal security standards.
  • Deploy and manage containerized applications using Amazon EKS and Kubernetes.
  • Support the development of AI/ML capabilities and cloud-native solutions.
  • Utilize Terraform and GitLab CI/CD pipelines to automate infrastructure as code.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an agile setting to drive project success.
  • Ensure systems adhere to NIST 800-53 and FISMA compliance requirements.
  • Automate operational tasks to enhance platform reliability and efficiency.
  • Contribute to architectural decisions and the development of cloud strategy.
Skills
  • Proven experience with AWS GovCloud and cloud infrastructure management.
  • Strong understanding of NIST 800-53 controls and FISMA compliance frameworks.
  • Expertise in deploying and managing containerized applications.
  • Proficiency in using Terraform and GitLab CI/CD for infrastructure automation.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, agile team environment.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience with AI/ML infrastructure and services.
  • Familiarity with project management tools such as Jira.
  • AWS certifications like Solutions Architect, SysOps Administrator, or DevOps Engineer.
  • Background in financial services or federal government environments.
