Remote Mortgage Servicing Compliance Analyst

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in need of a Remote Mortgage Servicing Compliance Analyst.

Responsibilities:
* Monitor and evaluate regulatory and industry changes affecting mortgage origination and servicing operations
* Analyze new requirements to determine business impact, compliance risks, and necessary operational changes
* Partner with business teams to implement regulatory updates and maintain ongoing compliance
* Provide guidance on mortgage servicing, origination, consumer protection, and compliance requirements
* Research and respond to escalated consumer complaints, regulatory inquiries, and servicing-related requests
* Support required regulatory response processes and ensure appropriate documentation is maintained
* Assist with consumer privacy requests and other privacy compliance activities
* Support regulatory examinations, audits, monitoring, issue remediation, and compliance reviews
* Identify opportunities to strengthen compliance controls, workflows, reporting, and operational processes
* Participate in cross-functional compliance and regulatory implementation initiatives
* Prepare reports, analyses, presentations, and supporting documentation for leadership and regulatory activities
* Serve as a compliance resource for business partners and assist with resolving day-to-day regulatory questions

REQUIREMENTS:
* Associate or Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Legal Studies, Risk Management, Compliance, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience
* 3+ years of mortgage industry experience with knowledge of origination and servicing operations
* Experience in compliance, regulatory affairs, audit, risk management, quality control, or a related function
* Experience identifying compliance risks and recommending process or control improvements
* Strong understanding of federal and state requirements affecting residential mortgage origination and servicing
* Knowledge of consumer complaint management, privacy compliance, regulatory examinations, and compliance controls
* Strong analytical, critical-thinking, investigative, and problem-solving skills
* Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and sound professional judgment
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong stakeholder management abilities
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office and collaborative business applications
* Ability to research and interpret regulatory requirements and translate them into practical business solutions
* Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
