Overview

The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise application development, a deep understanding of modern backend technologies, and the versatility to work across the stack as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect, design, and implement scalable backend solutions using Java Spring Boot and Microservices.
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs, integrating with third-party services and internal systems.
• Lead the deployment and orchestration of applications on Kubernetes, utilizing Helm for configuration management.
• Oversee CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Docker, JFrog, Maven, and ensure robust testing with Junit/Mockito.
• Manage database migrations, upgrades, and data transfers with Azure SQL.
• Contribute to frontend development using React, JavaScript, Node, and Express, ensuring seamless integration with backend services.
• Implement and enforce application security best practices, including authentication/authorization (TLS, OAuth, SSO).
• Configure and manage API gateways such as Apigee for secure and efficient API management.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile environments, providing technical leadership and mentorship.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across the stack.

Required Technical Skills

• 10+ years of experience in Java/JEE/Spring Boot enterprise application development.
• Strong expertise in designing and building Microservices architectures, including RESTful API development and third-party integrations.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes (Helm, deployment configs) for container orchestration and management.
• Proficiency in CI/CD tools: Jenkins, Docker, JFrog, Maven, Git, and automated testing frameworks (Junit/Mockito).
• Experience with Azure SQL, including database migrations, upgrades, and data transfer processes.
• Solid understanding of frontend technologies: React, JavaScript, Node.js, Express.
• Deep knowledge of application security protocols: TLS, OAuth, SSO, and general best practices.
• Experience with API gateways (e.g., Apigee) for API lifecycle management.
• Familiarity with application servers (Tomcat/Wildfly), messaging services (JMS, RabbitMQ, Redis), and both RDBMS (Oracle/PostgreSQL/MySQL) and NoSQL (Redis/MongoDB) databases.
• Comfort with Linux/Windows environments, networking protocols, and scripting.
• Strong experience with version control systems (GitHub/Gitlab) and Agile methodologies.
