DESCRIPTION OF PROJECT AND TASKS:
Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced SAP Deputy Program Manager to support a large-scale migration from the existing SAP ECC environment to an SAP Cloud SaaS platform. The ideal candidate will combine strong program/project management skills with a solid technical understanding of SAP, cloud platforms, integrations, data migration, and system landscapes.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Program Manager in planning, coordinating, and executing the SAP ECC-to-Cloud SaaS migration program.
- Manage and track technical workstreams, milestones, dependencies, risks, issues, and deliverables.
- Coordinate closely with SAP Basis, functional, integration, security, infrastructure, data migration, testing, and cloud teams.
- Support assessment of the existing ECC landscape, including interfaces, integrations, customizations, data, reports, and technical dependencies.
- Assist in developing the migration strategy, technical roadmap, cutover plan, go-live plan, rollback strategy, and hypercare approach.
- Coordinate data migration, integration/interface remediation, custom code remediation, testing, and technical readiness activities.
- Work with technical leads and implementation partners to identify and resolve technical risks and migration blockers.
- Track progress and provide regular status updates, dashboards, and executive-level reporting.
- Support program governance, stakeholder communication, vendor coordination, and decision-making.
- Ensure technical activities remain aligned with program scope, schedule, quality, security, and business objectives.
Technical Background
- Strong understanding of SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA environments.
- Knowledge of SAP Basis, SAP system landscapes, integrations, interfaces, APIs, and data migration.
- Familiarity with SAP Cloud/SaaS, SAP BTP, RISE with SAP, and/or S/4HANA Cloud.
- Understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform is a plus.
- Ability to communicate effectively with technical teams and senior business stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field.
- 8+ years of experience in SAP program/project management, SAP transformation, or technology delivery.
- Experience supporting SAP migration, modernization, or cloud transformation programs.
- Strong program coordination, stakeholder management, risk management, and communication skills.
- PMP, SAP certification, or SAP Activate experience is preferred.
