Job Title: Electrical Engineer Intern Job Location: Goleta, CAJob Description: - Perform circuit card design, layout and test using industry standard tools
- Determine electrical and system design approaches and parameters
- Perform system analysis to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints
- Utilize modeling tools and equipment to establish operating data, conduct experimental tests, and evaluate results
- Select components and equipment based on analysis of specifications and reliability
- Perform simulations and present design reviews to peer engineers
Qualifications:- Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related field
Preferred Skills:- Knowledge and/or experience with Power, Analog, VHDL, MCM, HFSS, Network, Controls, Photonics, Modem, DSP, MATLAB, Communication Systems, FPGA, Martime industry or Optical Engineering
- Excellent communication, technical writing and presentation skills
- Knowledge of Matlab, Python
- Knowledge of and/or understanding circuit analysis and operational concepts
- Familiarity with various computing environments (LINUX/Windows)
In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in California, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Washington, and the Greater D.C, Denver, or NYC areas is [$52,000.00 MIN - $98,800.00 MAX]. The salary range for this role in Colorado state, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New York state, and Vermont is [$45,760.00 MIN - $84,240.00 MAX].. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. L3Harris also offers a variety of benefits, including relocation stipend, 401(k), EAP, and company-paid holidays.
